my mother bought me the new weight watchers cook book for christmas. i love it. it has so many recipes i want to try. here is my favorite one so far
stove top macaroni and cheese
2 1/4 c. multi grain pasta (i cook mine in chicken broth, very tasty)
1 c. fat free milk
3/4 c. shredded reduced fat sharp cheddar
3/4 c. shredded reduced fat monteray jack cheese
1/3 c. shredded american cheese (i used two slices of fat free kraft singles)
1/3 c. shredded part skim mozzerella cheese
pepper
boil pasta and drain. add milk to drained pasta and cheese, pepper to taste. it will melt with stirring a couple of minutes over med. low heat. enjoy!! It makes 6 generous one cup servings at 299 calories each. make it a main dish by adding these great ideas
sliced green onions and quartered cherry tomatos. add them after you dish it up. it really makes the flavors pop.
